Hey people.

I'm Tom, from the Gold Coast.

found my tt01 chassis in a box a week after watching 2 guys drift their tt01d's near my house. got myself a hpi 11t drift motor, drift tyres, alloy shaft and soft springs.

also bought a 3300mah battery, because my 1600mah battery doesnt give me more than 10 mins run time.

any suggestions on some more things to add to my car? nothing too high in $$. just ordered the z-tune r34 + light kit.. waiting on that to arrive after christmas.

im going to buy another 3300mah battery, just so i can use it for a little longer than usual.

Cheers

Tom

the tt-01 is a great car to start out with. and when set up right drift realy good. i have owned a few my self. first mods are alloy shaft (which u have done) ball bearings and oil dampers. if you look around the site there should be some info on my old tt-01s

Cheers
Jay

At the moment, I've got the yeah racing alloy tampers, is that what you mean? but no oil.. lol. also, don't have a charger yet as I wanted to get it running and to get the hang of it.. I bought a cheap charger from rchobbies for $20 which will charge my 3300mah batt in 4 hours.

I'm going to spend around $100 for my next one.

What does locking the diff do? I read in the tutorials that I can get a better drift out of it, but do I need to do it?
